Sturdy baton; could be more hands-free

I feel much safer having this stun baton on my waist during my 60-minute daily walks. I also carry it with me in the car. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use it on a person or animal yet.The hook that’s meant to hold the baton on my hip is about half as long as it should be, such that most times when my arm brushes against it, it clatters to the ground. They should make the hook longer in future versions. This, plus the lack of a wristband to facilitate hands-free carrying, means that I sometimes have to carry it in my hand as I walk.Otherwise, it seems like a sturdy, quality purchase, and hopefully I never have to use it to defend myself.
